My name is Bob Spiers and I am the owner and Administrator of this tree which is an extract from my
own Spiers-Adams Tree. I have entitled this extract the d’Ambrosio-Turner-Randall-Spiers
as these surnames are the basis of this Tree.
I created it for Helen d’Ambrosio who I discovered was a second cousin once removed from a My
Heritage DNA matching result. As my Trees are on Ancestry I sent my Ancestry Results to MH and
they confirmed a likely ‘cousin’ contact. After which I made contact with Helen and learned our
common ancestors were George Spiers & Sarah Minett.
It was soon obvious that to answer questions posed by Helen and through her, her mother Ethel Betty d’Ambrosio (nee Turner) it would be quicker to set up a tree dedicated to the d’Ambrosio/Turner branch line; so here it is.
I should perhaps explain that as my own primary line is SPIERS this tree, not unsurprisingly, the Spiers line is fully extended based on my own research. On the other hand, my maternal ADAMS line is largely irrelevant to this branch line and so does not appear.
I was pleased to receive family photos from Helen (copied from her mothers family album), some of which were very close to home, namely of my father as a young boy. I am in the process of adding photos to this Tree and will include others in due time, and likewise any more sent to me for inclusion.
Meanwhile enjoy and do not hesitate to make contact should anyone spot any glaring errors.
